The primary schooling is from age 7 to 11 years.
This is the stage where the children start getting the flavor of structured schooling format. Students learn from the classroom, experience practical learning through experiments, environment, and different activities. Subjects like Social Studies start from Grade II. Focus is put on developing verbal, writing, and numeric knowledge following gaining preparation of secondary schooling. Aside, regular subjects like Language, Literature, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, Physical Education, Arts, Music, and Drama are adhered to in the curriculum. Computer Studies and Bengali start from Std I, to ensure every child’s connection to technology and mother language.
