The early years’ foundation is considered for children in the age group of 3-4 years while kindergarten is for the age group of 5-6 years. Any child who has access to high-quality education during these years develop better cognitive skills. Hence, Darland always sustains the quality of Early Years Foundation and Kindergarten. Our carefully planned curriculum provides teachers with a perfect framework to interact with young students and recognize their potential and strength. It also makes learning fun for the students while teachers can assess and monitor their learning. Children in our Early Years learn in a custom non-conventional method and our focus of learning includes:
1. Communication and Language: Developing oratory skills leading to the expression of thoughts without fear or hesitation.
2. Personal, Social, and Emotional Development: Understanding and mingling with people and developing social skills.
3. Physical Development: Children have plenty of physical movement-based activities for proper and healthy development and learn to use all the five senses properly.
4. Creative Development: Children get to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials, provided opportunities for sharing their thoughts and feelings through diverse activities in art, music, role-play, and design and technology.
5. Knowledge build-up and Literacy: This ranges to a very wide area from learning to read, write, and gaining foundation subject knowledge (at the late Kindergarten stage).
The early years & foundation is considered for children of the 3 to 4 years group, and kindergarten of 5 to 6 years.
