All praise be to Almighty Allah who has enabled us to establish Darland International School in 1994 with a noble mission to spread the light of education to all sections of people of the society, at a reasonable cost. 

Darland, since its embryonic stage, has been trekking steadily along the rugged path towards a determined goal. The main attraction of Darland lies in the unique combination of Modern and Religious educational modes. 

Every anniversary of the founding of DIS makes me remember the people who have contributed to the development of the institution. With great respect, I remember the invaluable services of our first Chief Adviser Prof. A.M. M. Azhar Hossain, who is no more.

I seize the opportunity to thank our dear parents as they have reposed their faith in our efforts and sincerity and helped us to survive in this environment of intense competition. We need their kind co-operation towards the upkeep of the school.

For years, this institution has fostered hundreds of leaders who in their own fields have earned top-notch positions at both home and abroad. As always, Darland thrives to create the next generation of leaders, who beget the sense of righteousness and zeal to serve their country.

In the days to come, we look forward to making our mark in an even greater arena.
